Your Treasurer and Membership chairman, Bruce Patterson, was born in Manhattan, NY, and raised in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. Following an Army Artillery career of 31 years, he and his wife Patsy served the local business community in Northern Virginia, offering accounting, business and tax preparation services. A history and business administration major, Patterson became interested in the Civil War when presented with a set of Freeman’s Lee’s Lieutenants early in his military career. A family decision to retire in Wilmington confirmed that long term interest.
